We all need to make money with our web sites. There are many places and services required to run a successfull web site. Listed here are the various affiliate networks and resources I use to operate LaughParty.com. I've included my personal opinions and a description of each program below.

Google AdSense

The simplest way for a webmaster make money - bar none. Relevant text and image ads are served based on each individual page's content. Cost Per Action and Referral fees are paid as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Commission Junction
This is the place to start for every webmaster. You can find hundreds of different affiliate programs to help you achieve profitability. They key to being successful with each merchant is targetting the advertisements you use to your web site's audience. Commission Junction also has the additional benefit of combining your earnings from all the merrhcants you promote. Their easy to reach $25.00 minumum payment threshold can guarantee you a check every month.

Reporting.net
Using Reporting.net (also known as BeFree) should be reserved for busier sites or those with a lot of subscribers. It's harder to make money as each merchant you deal with has it's own minimum payment threshold. In order to be paid, you must reach each individual merchants minimum threshold. Your earnings from multiple merchants are not combined. This program is best suited for established webmasters.

Advertising.com Newsletter Network
Here you gain access to multiple merchants who prefer to market via your email newsletters or ezines. You will need a signifcant subscriber base in order to be accepted. Advertising.com is one of the few remaining networks that pays 'per click' for the majority of their merchants. Lead based advertisements are also available. Their support is slow to respond to questions, but they do work with you on any issues until they are resolved. This program is best suited for established webmasters.

Fastclick
I really love this network. They have the best stats and a steady stream of banner and skyscraper size advertisers. They also pay you for popunder advertisements that aren't as intrusive as the competition's. This one is a must to belong to and use. Another huge plus is you can also specify default campaigns, giving you the ability to utilize various providers of revenue when no ads are available for them to serve your visitors.

Websponsors
The staff here are incredible. As you become more established you will receive personal attention from one of their incredible Affiliate Managers. Tanya is the best! An excellent source of pay per lead advertisers in a variety of categories. Something for any type of webmaster. This program is best suited for established webmasters.

DirectLeads
Another program like with advertisers in a variety of categories. They carry a lot of competitive lead programs as well as some paid per click merchants. This program is best suited for established webmasters.

ShareASale
Find more than one sponsor for your web site. Get paid for your great content. Having multiple sources of revenue is essential to every webmaster. For sales you can earn significant commissions from shareasale. Lead and Click based offers are also available. This program is best suited for established webmasters.

AdPlacing
Here is a company with a different approach. It actually costs money to join this network. For $59.95 you gain access to their pay per lead advertisements. Suprisingly their ads do very well and you earn your money back very quickly. It took me less than 2 days. They also provide you with very accurate tracking and email notification of all leads. ALL of their lead programs pay $1 or more each and they change weekly to maximize their potential. It's worth every dolllar to join this one.

NetAtlantic
Our subscriber list is rather large and required us to look for a mailing list provider. For the services they offer, NetAtlantic's prices cannot be beat. Incredibly reasonable list hosting costs which are also easy to use and understand. A must for the serious webmaster with an email subscriber base. Be sure to tell them LaughParty sent you!

Rackshack
What would a web site be without a server to host it? This place is incredible. Their smaller hosting plans are overpriced, but their dedicated hosting plans are so llow you can;t find anything cheaper. You get your own server for as little as $99 a month AND 300 GIGABYTES of bandwith free! The catch? You have to learn to manage your own server and expect limited support. Don't jump into a dedicated server unless you are ready to LEARN what you are doing. The jump is rather easy with Rackshack though - as you are povided with an excellent web server interface when they activate your server. I think the coolest thing is once you pay for the server, it;s ready! You'll receive your login information and an I.P as soon as you finish your order. Hosting has ever been so simple and affordable!

SuperTAF
A key feature of this site is the ability to 'Click Here to Tell a Friend' about each page. This service is provided by our good friends at SuperTAF. Make sure you set up an account for any and all the web sites you may run. The power of 'viral marketing' is exponential as more and more people send more traffic (their friend's) back to your site!
